23-24 Student Creativity in Web Design

I am thrilled to share some exciting news about a recent project that our students have been working on in their web design class. Over the past few months, our students have collaborated in groups to design and develop their own websites, showcasing their creativity, teamwork, and newly acquired technical skills.

Project Overview

Each group was tasked with creating a website on a topic of their choice. This project was designed to help students learn essential web design principles, including:

Planning and Structuring a Website: Deciding on the purpose, audience, and content of their site.

Design and Aesthetics: Choosing color schemes, fonts, and layouts to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites.

Collaboration: Working effectively as a team, assigning roles, and meeting deadlines.

Technical Skills:

  • Shooting: Understanding camera techniques, framing, and capturing high-quality footage.

  • Editing: Using software to enhance images, apply filters, and make necessary adjustments.

  • Uploading: Learning how to properly upload media to various platforms.

  • Downloading: Managing and organizing downloaded files efficiently.

  • Linking Videos: Integrating video links into websites or other media projects.

  • AI Applications: Applying AI tools and techniques to enhance media production and workflow.

These technical skills are essential for our students as they delve into modern digital media and web design projects.
